John Davis Fernandez, a Florida native born in Gainesville was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002. He graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. He has an undergraduate degree in liberal arts with an emphasis in economics from Florida State University.
After graduating law school, he returned to Clearwater where he had lived most of his life and joined John D. Fernandez, P.A. as an associate attorney practicing in personal injury law, criminal defense, and family law. John litigated and tried cases to verdict in all three.
Beyond his work in the courtroom, he has dedicated his time to the Florida Bar Grievance Committee protecting the citizens by policing lawyers who have been complained of for misconduct. Furthermore, John served on the Florida Bar Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee protecting people from those who are practicing law without a license or a law degree in most cases. In addition, as an active member of the Florida Justice Association, he champions plaintiff attorneys in their fight against insurance companies and large corporations on behalf of injured clients.
