John Davis Fernandez, a Florida native born in Gainesville was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002. He graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. He has an undergraduate degree in liberal arts with an emphasis in economics from Florida State University.
After graduating law school, he returned to Clearwater where he had lived most of his life and joined John D. Fernandez, P.A. as an associate attorney practicing in personal injury law, criminal defense, and family law. Mr. Fernandez litigated and tried cases to verdict in all three.
He has dedicated his time to the Florida Bar Grievance Committee protecting the citizens by policing lawyers who have been complained of for misconduct. He also served on the Florida Bar Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee protecting people from those who are practicing law without a license or a law degree in most cases. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, which is dedicated to plaintiff lawyers who help people take on large organizations and insurance companies who defend claims against people who are hurt.
